**About the Role:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacy Inventory Control Specialist to join our team at Penn Medicine. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the entire lifecycle of pharmacy inventory, from ordering and receiving to storing and tracking.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage inventory levels, ensuring adequate stock levels and minimizing stockouts or overstocking
  • Coordinate with purchasing staff to prepare orders, ensure accurate billing, and receive and enter products into automated inventory systems
  • Conduct regular cycle counts and reconciliations to ensure inventory accuracy
  • Develop and implement procedures for ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and industry best practices
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders, including hospital staff and vendors, to ensure smooth operations and address any concerns or issues

Requirements:

  • Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification required prior to employment or within six months of hire
  • At least 3 years' experience in pharmacy services, preferably in inventory management or warehouse management
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed

Salary Range:** $55,000 - $70,000 per year, depending on experience.
