Job Description

The American Food Service Depot is a leading provider of food service solutions, and we are seeking a skilled Warehouse Selector to join our team.

About the Job:

  1. Manage collection of ticket orders to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products
  2. Pull warehouse items from shelves based on customer requirements, including number, size, color, quantity, and quality
  3. Stage items correctly for delivery to ensure efficient processing and minimize errors
  4. Operate equipment safely and efficiently to meet production targets
  5. Monitor product storage and inventory levels to prevent overstocking or understocking
  6. Process specific orders using stock control systems and maintain accurate records
  7. Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve warehouse goals and maintain a safe and healthy work environment
  8. Pack warehouse orders as necessary to meet customer requirements
  9. Operate scanners to manage inventory accurately and efficiently

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working in a warehouse environment, preferably with an RF scanner
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work at heights
  • Positive attitude and strong communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Estimated Salary: $50,000 - $65,000 per year
