About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a Stepdown Registered Nurse, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care to a variety of intermediate-level patients, including those who have undergone CABG/Cath Lab procedures, respiratory issues, and complicated GI conditions.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver safe and effective nursing care to patients, utilizing the nursing process and critical thinking skills.
  • Collaborate with the patient care team to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide communication, confidence, and professionalism.
  • Provide education and support to patients and their families, promoting a positive image of nursing.
  • Participate in unit and organizational activities, demonstrating teamwork, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree registered nursing program.
  • Minimum of six (6) months of clinical experience as a licensed Registered Nurse.
  • Current Registered Nurse License in the State of Texas or Multi-State Compact License.
  • Current American Heart Association BLS Certification.
