Clinical Nurse Coordinator

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Nurse Coordinator to join our team at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak. As a key member of our nursing staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality patient care and coordinating all functions in the unit.
Responsibilities- Partner with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver high-quality patient-centered care.
- Assist with admission and discharge processes.
- Support improved outcomes and service by partnering with subject matter experts and leadership team.
- Provide coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance and engagement.
- Assist with staff scheduling.
The 16-bed Stepdown/Progressive Care Unit at Methodist Hospital Stone Oak is a dynamic and supportive environment that values teamwork, education, empowerment, and fun. Our team is proud to actively precept nursing students from several institutions, most of whom graduate and return to the team as an RN.
Requirements- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate or baccalaureate degree nursing program required.
- Current Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas required. If Compact License, a Texas RN license is required within 90 days of hire.
- Minimum of 2 years of RN experience in an acute care setting required.
- At least 1 year of charge nurse and/or leadership experience preferred.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.
