We're seeking a highly skilled Advanced Driver Assist Systems Design Engineer to coordinate and perform design and development activities for our automotive electrical components. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for producing 3D designs and 2D layouts, evaluating feasibility and cost requirements, and managing development projects.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop automotive electrical components, including vision systems and radar, sensors for safety systems, and related hardware.
  • Evaluate the feasibility and cost-effectiveness of designs and applications.
  • Develop and propose new design guides to Technical Management, as necessary.
  • Manage development projects and schedules, coordinate with corollary departments and suppliers, and research new technologies and market trends.
  • Prepare and present technical reports.


Requirements:

  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
  • 0-3 years of relevant design experience preferred.
  • Basic proficiency in CATIA V5/V6 (preferred).
  • Basic understanding of Class-A surfacing development and correlation with styling departments.
  • Basic understanding of design, including detailed component calculations, cost/weight reduction, and packaging feasibility.
  • Excellent communication skills and a willingness to seek out information from others.
  • Knowledge of plastic parts molding process.
  • Knowledge of metal component design and fatigue simulation.
  • Basic understanding of electrical hardware fundamentals and software development process.
  • Willingness to travel (domestically and internationally) to coordinate with global agencies.
  • Strong presentation skills.
  • Computer skills, such as PowerPoint, Excel, MS Project, Word, CATIA, CAE, etc.
