Job Summary

Central Supply Inc is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Operations Manager to oversee our warehouse operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for scheduling forklift staff, delegating tasks, and ensuring efficient receiving and shipment of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the Warehouse Manager in creating and managing receiving, warehousing, and distribution processes and procedures
  • Conduct physical counts of products and reconcile with data to maintain accurate inventory levels
  • Develop and monitor procedures for safety and security of the warehouse environment and all goods
  • Inspect all equipment and order repairs and replacements when required
  • Recruit, hire, and train new warehouse employees
  • Oversee all warehouse employees, including creating schedules, providing coaching and mentoring, and issuing corrective action when required

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred
  • 3+ years of experience in a warehouse or inventory control environment
  • Familiarity with inventory control and management software
  • Knowledge of proper safety procedures, equipment maintenance, and warehouse best practices
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal communication skills, with the ability to manage and develop a team
  • Able to lift up to 100 pounds
  • Flexible schedule
