Key Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and maintain robust IT systems and infrastructure using Azure cloud services to support our civil engineering projects.
Migrate on-prem servers and machines to the Azure cloud ecosystem.
Ensure the stability, security, and scalability of our network infrastructure, servers, and storage systems on the Azure platform.
Proactively monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess and address the IT needs of various departments, ensuring efficient and reliable operations on Azure.
Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures in Azure to protect our sensitive data and intellectual property.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
Proven experience as a Systems Administrator or Cloud Engineer, preferably in a similar industry or engineering environment.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, including LAN/WAN, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPN technologies.
Proficiency in Azure cloud services, server administration, virtualization, and cloud-based services.
Experience with Azure-specific technologies, such as Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Virtual Networks, and Azure Active Directory.
Familiarity with civil engineering software and tools is a plus (e.g., AutoCAD, BIM, GIS).
Solid understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices, specifically in an Azure environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive and customer-centric approach.
