Key Responsibilities- Oversee and manage the entire accounts receivable process, including billing, collections, customer service, and compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Review aging reports regularly to identify delinquent accounts and take appropriate action to resolve past due accounts.
- Investigate and resolve discrepancies in accounts receivable records and reports.
- Collaborate with the sales and customer service teams to resolve billing issues and ensure timely collection of payments.
- Use financial software to perform daily tasks and generate financial reports.
- Assist the Credit Manager in developing and implementing credit policies and procedures.
- Participate in regular audits to ensure the accuracy and integrity of accounts receivable data.
- Train and mentor staff on best practices for managing accounts receivable and credit control processes.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable and credit management, preferably in the manufacturing industry.
- Proven experience in managing aging reports and resolving past due accounts.
- Proficiency in using financial software.
- A strong understanding of the consumer goods market.
- Excellent analytical skills, with a keen eye for detecting discrepancies in financial data.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with teams across the company.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- Professional certification in Credit Management or a related field will be an added advantage.
