Logistics Operations Specialist

Overview
Systems Application & Technologies Inc. is a progressive and well-established Department of Defense contractor specializing in Range operations and maintenance. We are seeking an experienced Truck Driver with active Class A CDL to support launching, recovering, and over-the-road transport of military watercraft.
Salary: The estimated salary for this position is $65,000 - $85,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
Job Description
The successful candidate will drive trucks, often with trailers, to transport boats, materials, merchandise, equipment, or workers between various types of establishments. This driver may also load or unload trucks, with or without helpers, make minor mechanical repairs, and keep trucks in good working order.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience performing basic seamanship duties
- Familiarity with small boat operation, basic small craft maintenance, line handling, and launching/recovering watercraft using trailers
- Current Driver's License required; must be able to be insured through company's vehicle insurance policy while driving work/government/rental vehicles during working hours, and for the duration of employment
- U.S. Citizenship required and must be able to obtain a U.S. DoD Security Secret Clearance prior to start date and maintain a Secret clearance throughout employment
