Position Overview

The role of our Drivers is crucial for the success of our organization, ensuring the safe, timely, and complete delivery of our products to clients. As representatives of our company, Drivers embody our core values, with safety being the utmost priority.

Key Responsibilities

  • Transport goods to and from construction sites over local distances.
  • Utilize forklifts for unloading building materials efficiently.
  • Engage in hand loading, unloading, stacking, and staging of products.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, activities, and hours worked.
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues to management.
  • Ensure the cleanliness and presentation of the truck.
  • Report any road incidents to management and adhere to accident protocols.
  • Comply with DOT, state, and local traffic regulations.
  • Plan delivery routes using GPS technology to ensure punctuality.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and relay customer feedback to management.
  • Be adaptable to other reasonable duties and responsibilities as assigned.


Experience, Education, and Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Valid CDL Class A driver's license.
  • At least 5 years of driving experience.
  • Ability to pass drug and alcohol screenings.
  • Driving record must align with company standards.
  • Must meet health benchmarks and provide a medical certificate, unless exempt.

Skills and Competencies

  • Exceptional attention to detail with a focus on safe driving practices.
  • Thorough understanding of logistics and transportation systems.
  • Friendly demeanor with a commitment to outstanding customer service.

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

  • Regularly lift up to 100 pounds with assistance.
  • Frequently carry 100 pounds over distances of at least 12 feet with help.
  • Occasionally push 100 pounds using a wheeled cart.
  • Bend, stoop, or squat frequently.
  • Reach overhead to handle materials.
  • Climb ladders as required.
  • Demonstrate hand-eye coordination for operating equipment.
  • Work outdoors in varying temperatures, from extreme heat to cold.
