We are seeking a skilled Sewing Machine Operator to join our team at FELLFAB CORPORATION. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for operating industrial sewing machines to join, reinforce, or perform related sewing operations in a manufacturing environment of non-garment products.

Responsibilities

  • Operate or tend industrial sewing machines to perform various sewing operations.
  • Thread machine, change needles and adjust tension as required.
  • Use and understand basic measurements to ensure accurate sewing.
  • Perform sewing functions in a precise and timely manner to meet Company quality and production standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure efficient production.
  • Work to schedule set by lead hand or supervisor to meet production deadlines.
  • Communicate with Supervisor or Lead Hand concerns of material or machines.
  • Lubricate and clean machine as required to ensure optimal performance.
  • Verify quality standards on finished components to ensure compliance with Company standards.

Qualifications:

  • Experience operating an industrial sewing machine, at home or in a factory.
  • Ability to work in a safe manner, in a standing position.
  • Demonstrates strong attention to detail, and a strong work ethic.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:

  • Ability to perform stand-up sewing in a TSS setting.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
