About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Nursing Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services.
Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
- Deliver safe direct care to patients as required
- Work within hospital policies and procedures
- Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations
- Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained
- Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities of new personnel
- Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families
Requirements:
- Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
- RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement by NM
- CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days
- Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo (non-essential)
Benefits:
- Sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement available
- 15% weekend day shift differentials
Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
