Job Title: Nursing Care Professional

About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team at the University of New Mexico - Hospitals. As a Nursing Care Professional, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission to deliver high-quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities:
Our ideal candidate will have the following skills and qualifications:
  • Deliver safe direct care to patients as required
  • Work within hospital policies and procedures
  • Implement and document individualized care plans incorporating age-specific considerations
  • Assist with special tests and procedures, ensuring proper consent has been obtained
  • Participate in orientation and assume precepting responsibilities of new personnel
  • Maintain a safe, comfortable, and therapeutic environment for patients/families

Requirements:
  • Graduate of a nationally accredited nursing program
  • RN licensure in New Mexico or reciprocal agreement by NM
  • CPR for Healthcare/BLS certification within 30 days
  • Bilingual English/Keres, Tewa, Tiwa, Towa, Zuni, or Navajo (non-essential)

Benefits:
  • Sign-on bonus and relocation reimbursement available
  • 15% weekend day shift differentials

Salary: $65,000 - $85,000 per year
