A Walmart Associate Optometrist plays a vital role in our mission, working closely with the Vision Center Manager to deliver exceptional patient care.
About the JobWe're seeking an experienced optometrist who can connect with our patients and provide personalized attention.
The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of delivering evidence-based vision care and be eager to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Evidence-Based Vision Care: Provide routine vision care using established guidelines and recommend medications and treatment options as needed.
- Patient Education: Educate patients on eye health, contact lens care, and disease state management.
You'll also work closely with other health professionals to develop patient care plans and stay up-to-date with the latest technology and instrumentation.
To succeed in this role, you'll need a Doctoral Degree in Optometry (OD) from an accredited school, a valid license to practice optometry, and experience with EMR/EHR systems.
We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 - $220,000 per year, along with performance bonuses, Regional Pay Zone, Sales Volume Category, and Complex Structure.
This position requires a strong commitment to quality patient care and a passion for staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in optometry.
