We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Substance Abuse Counselor to join our team at Wellpath. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to patients with mental, emotional, and substance abuse issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct group and individual substance abuse activities for patients and develop related programs.
  • Assess and evaluate patients for co-occurring disorders and determine the level of care required.
  • Ensure timely completion of all necessary records and reports.
  • Maintain professional development through in-service education and other resources, while complying with Human Resources requirements.
  • Show cultural sensitivity, treating each patient as an individual, and considering their cultural background when providing care and treatment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in a social services related field.
  • Or Certified in the substance abuse field.
  • Or Experience in the substance abuse field.
