About the RoleThis is a full-time, 3 x 12 hour shift position on the Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) at Baylor Scott & White Round Rock Medical Center. As a CVICU Registered Nurse, you will provide high-quality patient care to critically ill patients with cardiovascular conditions.
Responsibilities- Provide direct patient care to CVICU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized patient care plans.
- Monitor and manage patient's cardiovascular conditions, including hemodynamic stability, cardiac output, and oxygenation.
- Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians, including vasopressors, inotropes, and vasodilators.
- Participate in code blue and rapid response team activations as needed.
To be considered for this role, you must have at least one year of experience as a Registered Nurse in a Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit. A Bachelor's degree in Nursing is preferred. You must also be licensed as a Registered Nurse in the state of Texas.
