About the Role

CoolSys is seeking an experienced HVAC Installation Foreman to lead our installation teams in delivering high-quality services to our customers. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the installation of HVAC systems, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and train installation teams to ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to complete projects efficiently and effectively.
  • Prioritize and delegate tasks to team members to ensure projects are completed on time and to the required quality standards.
  • Communicate effectively with customers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered to their satisfaction.
  • Monitor and control job costs to ensure they are within budget.
  • Develop and maintain productive relationships with customers, project managers, and other stakeholders to ensure repeat business and referrals.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including safety protocols, time and attendance, and project tracking.
  • May oversee 3rd party resources and direct the work of other apprentices and journeymen assigned to specific projects.
Requirements
  • High school diploma, GED, or completion of trade program or technical school.
  • 5+ years of experience in commercial building construction or other related industry/trade.
  • MUST have Commercial HVAC Foreman experience.
  • MUST be willing to travel.
  • MUST be willing to work nights.
  • Knowledge of construction principles and practices, including efficient use of labor hours.
  • Ability to organize tasks and use good judgment in making work assignments.
  • Ability to give clear instructions and guidance, as needed.
  • Ability to maintain project labor hours within acceptable limits and request change orders as needed.
  • Ability to ensure safe work practices and ensure compliance with Safety policies.
  • Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures and all applicable State and Federal laws.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision.
  • Track record of punctuality and dependability.
  • Ability to use computer tools including email, word, project planning software, etc.
  • Ability to manage time, delegate assignments, and follow through to ensure good results.
