Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Nursing Assistant to join our team at Essentia Health. As a Nursing Assistant, you will provide direct care to patients and contribute to a safe and comfortable environment under the supervision of a Registered Nurse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide personal hygiene care and assist with nutritional needs
  • Offer comfort care and other assistance to patients
  • Appropriately and safely transfer patients
  • Take vital signs and complete recordkeeping
  • Recognize and promptly report changes in patient condition to the RN
  • Maintain a safe, clean environment for patients
Requirements
  • BLS certification or ability to become certified within 1 month from hire date
  • High school diploma or equivalent required

Work Environment

This position will work the following schedule:

  • 72 hours every 2 weeks
  • Every other weekend
  • 8 hour shifts
  • Evening shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM
