Job Summary:

Virtua Health is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team. As a Radiology Technician, you will be responsible for administering ionizing radiation to patients for diagnostic purposes. You will perform a wide variety of radiologic procedures in accordance with established and approved protocols and standards. Your primary goal will be to produce high-quality radiographic images while ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients.

Responsibilities:

Perform radiologic procedures for all patient populations according to protocols established by the radiologist, while applying principles of radiation safety and protection at all times.
Evaluate images with the goal of producing radiographic images of the highest diagnostic quality.
Consistently provide thorough and accurate documentation, including obtaining pertinent medical information prior to the procedure and reviewing and verifying physicians' orders.
Demonstrate appropriate and effective use of all radiographic equipment and computer systems, including RIS, PACS, Web viewer, ADW workstation, and other hospital-based computer or PC systems.

Requirements:

Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology.
Registered or registry eligible by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (A.R.R.T.).
NJDEP licensure required.
CPR certification preferred.
