Job Title: Assistant General Manager

Job Summary:

The Assistant General Manager is a key member of the iFLY World team, responsible for overseeing daily operations in partnership with the General Manager. This role requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication, and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise customer service staff, call center, instructors, and other team members
  • Manage daily flight and staff schedules
  • Monitor flight manifest to ensure maximum occupancy
  • Assist with interviewing and training of team members
  • Partner with other managers to prepare team member reviews, recognition, and disciplinary actions
  • Responsible for inventory control and ordering of merchandise and supplies
  • Ensure safety of operations and ensure team members are following all safety procedures
  • Manage and maintain daily reporting
  • Prepare commission report for payroll and timekeeping
  • Verify POS close outs and cash drops have been accurately completed by team members
  • Help manage budgets and profitability of tunnel
  • Ensure the facility is clean inside and outside
  • Involved in identifying proactive incentive programs, reward schemes, and team building events
  • Assist in short- and long-term sales and marketing strategies and help evaluate effectiveness
  • Recommend and manage product or service enhancements to improve customer satisfaction and sales potential
  • Research, evaluate, and recommend enhancements to constantly improve the customer experience
  • Work with Point of Sale systems

Requirements:

  • Self-motivated, natural leadership ability, strong verbal and nonverbal communication skills, organizational skills, ability to delegate, and a good work ethic
  • Computer skills in word processing, spreadsheet, database management, content management systems, and desktop publishing applications
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, creative writing, and negotiation skills
  • Initiative, detail-orientation, project management, multi-tasking, organizational, and prioritization skills
  • Tact, discretion, and good judgment to maintain positive relationships with co-workers, clients, and vendors
  • Exemplify and uphold proper safety standards
