About the Role

Lifeway Mobility is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our field teams, ensuring seamless delivery of our services to customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management
    • Supervise and mentor local and regional field technicians and customer service representatives.
    • Support team members with problem-solving and troubleshooting.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and track key performance indicators.
    • Develop and implement processes to improve department performance.
    • Screen, hire, train, and develop team members.
    • Plan, coordinate, and deliver training for new and existing team members.
    • Manage team member performance, including annual reviews, coaching, and counseling.
  • Customer Service and Service Delivery
    • Work with the Install and Service Coordinator to coordinate work schedules and assignments.
    • Triage and dispatch service calls.
    • Oversee service call billing and ensure timely estimates are generated and sent to customers.
  • Operations and Logistics
    • Manage vendor relationships, including issuing purchase orders and verifying receipt of equipment and materials.
    • Track inventory movements and maintain an up-to-date inventory.
    • Manage fleet repairs, records, and cleanliness.
    • Ensure compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
  • Financial Management
    • Track and manage accounts receivable.
    • Call on past-due accounts and keep the General Manager informed.
  • Other Responsibilities
    • Secure required permits in advance of starting new jobs.
    • Update pricing from vendors to ensure accurate purchase costs.
    • Maintain current knowledge of industry regulations and best practices.
    Requirements
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Team leadership, customer service, organizational, computer, process/procedure, and goal-setting skills.
    • Supervisory experience in a related field, such as construction management, customer home sales/operations, or healthcare product industry.
    • Excellent leadership, decision-making, and communication skills.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
    • Ability to drive a forklift and travel to company locations as needed.
