Job Description

This position is for a Distribution Engineer to support the expansion of the service area in the Birmingham, AL region.

The type of projects will have some variance in nature and will include the following types of work:
KV conversions, strengthening of tie lines, automation projects, copper wire replacement, and device upgrades.

This scope of work is a continuation of capital upgrades and grid modernization programs that have been underway for several years in the utility's footprint.

Additional responsibilities can include but are not limited to add-ons or growth within customer delivery, establishing power distribution to new businesses and/or facilities in the area along with Joint Use/Share Services support.

This position will be contract-based and located in the Metro Division of Birmingham/Trussville.
