Silicon Validation Engineer

Meta is seeking a skilled Silicon Validation Engineer to join our Reality Labs team. As a key member of our silicon validation team, you will be responsible for validating high-performance silicon and leading the effort to ensure high-quality silicon delivery.
Responsibilities:- Develop and execute SoC and E2E system validation plans, ensuring timely and accurate delivery.
- Identify and communicate technical risks to stakeholders, providing clear and concise recommendations for mitigation.
- Plan, organize, and oversee silicon bring-up and validation activities across multiple SoCs, collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Drive test execution and debug with cross-functional teams, ensuring seamless integration of HW/SW/FW components.
- Lead lab debug, silicon bug repro, failure analysis, and failure report activities, providing actionable insights for improvement.
- Work with cross-functional teams to generate validation reports for SoCs and systems, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Adapt to changing roadmaps and validation plans, demonstrating agility and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.
- 3+ years of hands-on experience in bring-up and validation of complex SoCs.
- 3+ years of experience in leading silicon validation planning, execution, validation FW development, and validation signoff.
- Strong problem-solving, debug, and whiteboard skills, with the ability to influence design, DV, and Post-Silicon validation teams.
- Experience building silicon validation infrastructure and test automation, with hands-on experience in using lab equipment.
- Experience working in a cross-functional and cross-site team environment, with a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Knowledge of ASIC design flow, silicon foundry test flow, and silicon FW development process.
- Experience in pre-silicon validation platforms (i.e., FPGA and emulation), with background in high-speed protocols (i.e., MIPI, PCIe, USB, DDR).
$142,000/year to $203,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits
