Job Title: Graduate Silicon Physical Debug Engineer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Graduate Silicon Physical Debug Engineer to join our team at ARM. As a Graduate Silicon Physical Debug Engineer, you will be responsible for determining the root cause of issues within silicon chips and developing solutions to prevent these issues from occurring in the future.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and bring up tools to interrogate faulty chips and collect test results
  • Analyze clues to hypothesize the root cause of issues
  • Collect further data to confirm or refute the root cause hypothesis
  • Present conclusions and corrective actions to relevant teams
Requirements:
  • Graduating with a degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or experimental sciences by June 2025
  • Lab work experience involving experiment design, execution, and data acquisition
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience developing data acquisition systems using NI's PXI platform and LabVIEW
  • Past electronics/hardware projects from conception to functional validation
  • Good understanding of VLSI design workflow and toolset, DFT methodologies and toolset, and transistor physics
