We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team at Casa Real in New Mexico. As a Licensed Practical Nurse, you will provide high-quality nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse, ensuring positive clinical outcomes and patient satisfaction.
Job Description:
As a Licensed Practical Nurse at Genesis Healthcare, you will be responsible for evaluating patients, contributing to care planning, administering medications, and supervising unlicensed staff. Your primary goal is to deliver efficient and effective nursing care while achieving positive clinical outcomes and patient/family satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate patients/residents to collect data, observe condition, and report changes in condition.
- Contribute to nursing assessments and care planning.
- Administer medications and perform treatments per physician orders.
- Supervise and monitor patient care provided by unlicensed staff.
Requirements:
To be eligible for this position, you must meet the following requirements:
- Be a graduate of an approved school for practical or vocational nursing.
- Be currently licensed by the State Board of Nursing or pending licensed practical nurse licensure.
- Maintain current BLS/CPR certification if employed at a skilled nursing center or as required by the state of practice if an assisted living facility.
Compensation:
The estimated salary range for this position is USD $36.00 - USD $41.00 per hour, with a bonus of up to USD $10,000. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, vision, company-paid life insurance, 401K, paid time off, and several voluntary insurances such as pet insurance, term and whole life insurance, short-term disability, hospital indemnity, personal accident, critical illness, and cancer coverage.
