About the Role

World Market Inc is seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our team in a key leadership role. As a key member of our merchandising team, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, improving customer satisfaction, and maintaining a high level of visual merchandising standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Partner with the Store Manager to develop and implement visual merchandising strategies that drive sales and improve customer experience.
  • Assess and analyze business trends to identify opportunities for growth and implement effective solutions.
  • Lead and develop a high-performing team of sales associates to achieve sales goals and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Manage and maintain a safe and efficient work environment, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform daily business tasks and duties assigned by the Store Manager, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and visual merchandising.
Requirements
  • Minimum 2+ years of leadership experience in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and improving customer satisfaction.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, as needed.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
