Nurse Practitioner

As a Registered Nurse at Danbury Hospital, you will provide professional care and assume responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated time frame. You will work collaboratively with other healthcare team members to provide care to these patients utilizing the nursing process.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform ongoing and systematic assessments of patients' physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
Formulate a goal-directed plan of care based on determined nursing diagnoses and patient outcomes.
Implement care in a knowledgeable, skillful, consistent, and continuous manner.
Establish priorities of patient care based on essential patient needs and available resources.
Evaluate the effectiveness of care given and patient progression toward outcomes.
Requirements:
State of CT RN license.
Working Conditions:
Significant manual skills and motor coordination.
Significant occupational risk.
Very Heavy effort, exerting up to 50 lbs. force.
Significant exposure to dirt, odor, noise, human waste, etc.
