Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Dishwasher to join our team at Wolf and Roadrunner, a new restaurant in Santa Fe, NM. As a Dishwasher, you will play a critical role in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our kitchen and dining areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work under the direction of the Executive Chef or Sous Chef to ensure the efficient operation of the kitchen.
  • Communicate daily with kitchen leadership to coordinate job assignments and timelines.
  • Maintain a positive and professional attitude with coworkers and guests.
  • Set up workstations before meal prep begins and collect used kitchenware from dining and kitchen areas.
  • Load, run, and unload dishwashing machines, and check their operation to report any technical issues.
  • Maintain cleaning supplies stock and place orders when necessary.
  • Ensure there are always enough clean dishes, glasses, and utensils, especially during peak hours.
  • Wash specific items by hand, such as wooden cutting boards, large pots, and delicate china.
  • Store clean dishes, glasses, and equipment appropriately.
  • Remove garbage regularly and sanitize the kitchen area, including the floor.
Requirements
  • Current New Mexico Food Handler Certification required.
  • Ability to work on your feet in a humid kitchen environment for eight hours or more.
  • Must be able to lift/push/reach for/carry 30+ pounds frequently.
  • Excellent verbal communication and ability to multitask.
  • 6 months to 1 year or equivalent combination of education and experience; high volume and/or fine dining experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or equivalent experience/training.
