Position Overview

JOB TITLE: Dispensary Inventory Specialist

SUPERVISION:

  • Reports directly to the Dispensary Inventory Lead, with additional oversight from the Dispensary Manager.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Ensure the daily availability of products on the sales floor.
  • Implement and manage inventory tracking systems as directed by management.
  • Monitor and maintain stock levels of all supplies within the dispensary.
  • Evaluate various suppliers for non-cannabis products to secure cost-effective agreements.
  • Investigate and rectify any discrepancies in the inventory tracking system.
  • Adhere to all state-mandated inventory documentation requirements.
  • Develop proficiency in METRC, Dutchie, and other inventory management systems.
  • Keep a tidy and organized workspace.
  • Undertake additional tasks and special projects as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Associate's degree in Business or relevant experience is preferred.
  • Experience in the cannabis industry is advantageous.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
  • Demonstrated leadership, project management, and time management skills.
  • Practical and proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Ability to foster and maintain positive relationships to achieve support and results.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a valid driver's license or state identification.
  • Must successfully complete all required background checks.
  • Must comply with all legal and company regulations pertinent to the industry.
  • Ability to frequently lift and move equipment/materials/products weighing up to 50+ pounds (100 pounds with assistance).
  • This role may involve remaining stationary or moving for extended periods.
