**Job Summary**

Carolinaeatingdisorders is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pool Safety Specialist to join our team. As a Pool Safety Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and well-being of all individuals in and around our swimming pool facilities.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Monitor and respond to emergencies in and around the pool, including recognizing and responding to hazardous situations or behaviors.
  • Administer first aid and CPR, including using an AED and emergency oxygen when needed.
  • Rescue distressed swimmers when necessary.
  • Enforce pool rules in an appropriate, fair, and equitable manner, and explain the rationale for the rules when needed.
  • Assist individuals as needed, without compromising the safety of others using the facility.
  • Perform various maintenance duties as directed to maintain a clean and safe pool.
  • Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude towards customers at all times.

**Requirements:**

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One or more years of previous lifeguard experience required.
  • Lifeguard Certification from an accredited organization.
  • CPR and de-escalation/restraint certification required.
  • First aid certification may be required based on state or facility requirements.
