The ideal candidate will have expertise in engineering control systems within hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical control environments. Additionally, the candidate must demonstrate proficiency in team leadership, project management, and customer relationship development. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and upgrading PLC & HMI solutions. They will also design system layouts and I/O schematics, integrate control devices, and create Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) programs. Furthermore, the candidate will utilize Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley suite of tools, Inductive Automation Ignition, or Wonderware software to meet customer requirements. The Senior Controls Engineer will work with complex PLC programs, electrical control systems, and industrial refrigeration systems to ensure that the design meets customer requirements. They will also prepare schematics and specifications for control panel fabrication, provide documentation and support to the field wiring team, and develop industrial graphics that allow the display and control of system status, alarms, etc. The candidate will assist in both internal and customer acceptance testing of subject equipment, perform on-site commissioning to implement and validate the system design, and aid in transitioning systems to customers for system go-live. Travel to customer locations as needed. Requirements include a Bachelor of Science in Engineering or equivalent field experience, team leadership and customer relationship development experience, proven project management skills, distributed control systems and system design experience, Programmable logic controllers experience, AutoCAD electrical or SOLIDWORKS electrical experience, Rockwell Automation / Allen-Bradley suite of tools, Inductive Automation Ignition, or Wonderware software experience, debugging experience, and authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
