Job Title: Clinical Ethicist

The Center for Clinical Ethics in Cancer Care at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, Houston, Texas invites applications for a full-time Clinical Ethicist with Clinical Faculty Appointment.

Job Summary:

Under the direction of the Executive Director of the Center for Clinical Ethics in Cancer Care, the faculty member will participate fully in all the components of the Center including ethics consultation, educational efforts, policy recommendations, and research activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct ethics consultations and provide guidance on complex ethical issues
  • Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals and staff
  • Contribute to policy recommendations and research activities
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address ethical concerns
Qualifications:

Applicants must have a terminal degree in ethics or a related field and experience conducting ethics consultations. The HEC-C credential is preferred, but willingness to achieve the credential within 1 year is also acceptable.

What We Offer:

This position has a target base salary of $110,000 to $140,000 and is eligible for incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits, as well as relocation support, as applicable.
