Join Our Team as a Clinical Ethicist

The Center for Clinical Ethics in Cancer Care at MD Anderson Cancer Center is seeking a highly qualified Clinical Ethicist to join our team. As a Clinical Ethicist, you will play a critical role in providing ethics consultation, educational efforts, policy recommendations, and research activities that impact the ethical care of patients, education of healthcare professionals, and research agenda of the Center.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct ethics consultations and provide guidance on complex ethical issues
  • Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals and staff
  • Contribute to policy recommendations and research activities that advance the field of clinical ethics
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to address ethical concerns and improve patient care

Requirements:

  • Terminal degree in ethics or related field
  • Experience conducting ethics consultations and holding the HEC-C credential or willingness to achieve the credential within 1 year
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks

What We Offer:

  • Competitive salary range of $110,000 to $140,000
