Join Our Team as a Clinical Ethicist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Ethicist to join our team at the Center for Clinical Ethics in Cancer Care at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center. As a Clinical Ethicist, you will play a critical role in providing ethics consultation, educational efforts, policy recommendations, and research activities that impact the ethical care of patients, education of healthcare professionals, and research agenda of the Center.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Participate in ethics consultation and provide guidance on complex ethical issues
  • Develop and implement educational programs for healthcare professionals and staff
  • Contribute to policy recommendations and research activities that advance the field of clinical ethics
Qualifications:
  • Terminal degree in ethics or related field
  • Experience conducting ethics consultations and holding the HEC-C credential or willingness to achieve the credential within 1 year
What We Offer:
  • Target base salary of $110,000 to $140,000
  • Incentive compensation, comprehensive health, wellness, time off, savings, and retirement benefits
  • Relocation support, as applicable
