Make a Difference in the Lives of the Underserved

We are seeking a skilled Medical Director to join our team on a part-time basis (20 hours per week) to direct, assess, plan, and monitor all general medical services, ensuring that medical assessments and care are performed, and providing consultation and referrals to and from community medical employees.

Key Responsibilities
  • Direct and manage general medical care for the facility.
  • Provide individualized assessment and treatment tailored to the developmental needs of each individual served.
  • Routinely review and coordinate treatment planning for individuals requiring ongoing medical and consultative services.
  • Participate in utilization management initiatives, ensuring compliance with the pharmaceutical formulary and consultative referral processes.
  • Coordinate with the Administrator to designate continuing care facilities and specialty physicians, and may perform minor surgical procedures.
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Education: MD or DO degree from an accredited university.
  • Experience: Two (2) years' experience providing medical care.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Licensed to practice in state of employment, Board certified or eligible in family medicine or other primary care specialty, and DEA licensure.
