Automation Systems Integration Specialist

E2i Inc. is a leading systems integrator specializing in automation, validation, and control panel design for the manufacturing industry.
Estimated Salary: $100k-$120k
The role involves designing, implementing, and testing automation and control systems for process or manufacturing systems. As an Automation Systems Integration Specialist, you will have discretion over designs and modifications for client projects with some guidance. You will also provide support to fellow team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Building strong relationships with clients
- Designing and implementing DCS, PLC, HMI, and SCADA software for control systems and equipment
- Developing electrical hardware systems
- Understanding manufacturing processes and process instrumentation
- Investigating and resolving complex problems
- Demonstrating excellent communication skills with clients, peers, and supervisors
- Addressing on-call requests as needed
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
- 5-10 years of experience in process control and automation
- Programming/developing/configuring DeltaV, PLC, HMI, DCS, and SCADA software for control systems (experience with Rockwell, FactoryTalk View SE/ME; iFix, PlantPAx, PCS7, Siemens, or Wonderware is a plus)
- Ability to support Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- Ability to read piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&ID)
