We are a leading beverage manufacturer seeking an experienced Automation Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our automation systems.
Job Summary:
The Automation Maintenance Technician will be responsible for troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on our automated case pick system. This includes identifying and resolving issues, conducting root-cause analysis, and providing corrective/reactive maintenance as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot and perform preventative maintenance on the automated case pick system.
- Provide corrective/reactive maintenance on assets within the facility as required.
- Conduct root-cause analysis on asset failures with the goal of preventing reoccurrence.
- Train other employees on support, recovery, and maintenance of field assets.
- Assist with parts orders, consumables, repair, and return of defective parts, warranty services, and requests for information pertaining to the automation system.
- Conduct planned/emergency service calls, various rebuilds on equipment, system audits, and preventive maintenance.
- Prepare necessary tools and review drawings, etc., for service calls.
- Research part numbers from product service manuals and research related information.
- May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed, or assigned.
Qualifications:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent job experience.
- 2-5 years' experience in at least three of the following areas (weighted towards the first four): software development, controls development, AMR/AGV/SDV installation, configuration, and service, mechanical installation and integration, client service, facilities management, parts management, project management, clear and effective communication style, ability to read blueprints/schematics/wiring diagrams, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, PC computer software and hardware literate, basic computer networking skills.
- Must be a self-starter, well organized, and able to work independently without on-site supervision.
- Frequent contact with employees and the management team.
- Frequent changes in activities and priorities.
- Ability to lift, lower, and carry objects up to 50 lbs., work from heights, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces.
Salary Estimate:
The estimated salary range for this position is $60,000-$80,000 per year, depending on qualifications and experience.
