Job Overview

The Strategic People Operations Director is a key leader within our organization, responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our People Operations department. This role will report directly to our Managing Director and will play a critical part in developing and implementing effective HR strategies that drive business growth and success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the administration of our HR systems, including staffing, total rewards, and employee development programs.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and implement strategic plans that align with our organizational goals.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies for hiring and talent pipeline development.
  • Manage relationships with benefits vendors to ensure optimal service delivery and alignment with our organizational goals.
  • Analyze trends in compensation and benefits; research and propose competitive base and incentive pay programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Monitor and improve employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention.
  • Lead cross-functional teams to plan and deliver employee training programs, provide coaching and feedback, and facilitate performance management.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes in human resources, talent management, and employment law.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • Proven experience leading and developing high-performing teams in an HR or related field.
  • Strong knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Exceptional communication, writing, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Adept at problem-solving and conflict resolution.
  • Detail-oriented and organized with strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Strong negotiation and influencing skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
