Job Overview

HealthCare Connections, Inc. is seeking experienced Blood Bank Technologists to join their team at their renowned blood center. As a Blood Bank Technologist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safe and efficient transfusion of blood products to patients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine and specialized tests in blood banks, blood donor centers, and reference laboratories
  • Calibrate, operate, troubleshoot, and maintain equipment
  • Collect and prepare specimens with dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
  • Follow instructions and procedures carefully, exercising critical thinking skills to recognize problems and develop solutions
  • Ensure lab safety and infection prevention protocols are followed

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in science
  • MT/MLT/MLS(ASCP) certification or equivalent
  • SBB(ASCP) certification a plus
  • Two (2) years of experience in immunohematology testing
