We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Director to join our team at Frontier Management (OR). As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of our facilities, ensuring a safe and comfortable environment for our residents and staff.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Management: Provide strategic direction and oversight to the maintenance team, ensuring effective planning, organization, and execution of maintenance activities.
- Maintenance Operations: Develop and implement maintenance policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Facility Maintenance: Oversee the maintenance and repair of facilities, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems, to ensure a safe and comfortable environment.
- Team Development: Foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within the maintenance team, providing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Communication and Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, including administration, nursing, and dietary, to ensure effective communication and coordination of maintenance activities.
- Experience: Minimum 3 years of experience in a supervisory capacity, with a strong background in maintenance and operations in a healthcare setting.
- Knowledge and Skills: Proven knowledge of boilers, compressors, generators, and other mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Ability to read and interpret blueprints and building codes. Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
