Role Responsibilities:

  • Formulates engineering solutions to assess and validate systems, equipment, and devices in accordance with established engineering principles and specifications.
  • Creates and executes testing strategies, timelines, and criteria for both new and existing designs; leads the development of testing resources, including tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and apparatuses.
  • Engages with management and both internal and external testing and development partners to communicate testing progress, project status, results, and resolve issues.
  • Guides a project team of test engineers and external testing partners to devise and implement reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality testing solutions for moderately complex products.
  • Acts as the representative for the test engineering team throughout all phases of larger and more intricate development projects.
  • Provides mentorship and guidance to junior staff members in software best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • 8+ years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a US citizen.
  • Willingness to obtain a security clearance if required.

  • Possesses a mentoring attitude to assist team members in developing efficient software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
