Key Responsibilities of Logistics Associates:

  • Ensure the security of Etain's facilities by utilizing state-of-the-art security systems and surveillance to deter any unauthorized activities.
  • Manage the packaging and distribution of various products, ensuring accuracy and quality in every shipment.
  • Confirm that all required documentation is present for the transportation of medical marijuana products.
  • Create transport manifests for shipments between dispensaries.
  • Conduct deliveries to dispensing locations, ensuring precise transfers and maintaining a clear chain of custody with appropriate documentation.
  • Oversee cash transportation from dispensaries to financial institutions, ensuring alignment with financial records.
  • Receive and document medical marijuana deliveries at the production site, ensuring proper storage and inventory oversight.
  • Assist the facilities team with sanitation duties, including surface cleaning and waste management.
  • Maintain comprehensive logs of daily operations, visitor records, financial transactions, and waste management activities.
  • Identify and report any security weaknesses to the relevant authorities.
  • Participate in inventory audits across all Etain locations and support the Quality Control team as needed.

Essential Skills:

  • Ability to drive and operate vehicles for extended periods, up to 12 hours.
  • Strong attention to detail necessary for meticulous record-keeping.
  • Proficient in computer usage and quick to adapt to new software applications.
  • Capability to lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

Work Environment:

This position involves various settings, including vehicles, laboratories, dispensaries, greenhouses, and outdoor areas. Daily use of personal protective equipment is required in manufacturing environments, including respirators, gloves, hair nets, and goggles. Professional attire is expected outside of manufacturing areas.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid New York State Driver's License.
  • Two years of experience in security, compliance, quality control, or related fields.
  • Relevant educational background, training, or experience equivalent to the specified requirements.
  • Minimum age requirement: 21 years.
