Supply Chain Program Manager

Austin, Texas, United States Google Full time

Minimum qualifications:

A Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience. A minimum of 5 years in program or project management. At least 5 years of experience in a global supply chain across various disciplines, particularly in technical or networking sectors. A minimum of 3 years in a leadership capacity, with or without direct reports.

Preferred qualifications:
5 years of experience overseeing cross-functional or inter-team projects.

Experience in supply and inventory planning, reverse supply chain management, and labor/deployment planning within the data center infrastructure domain (e.g., compute, storage, or networking). Proven ability to operate within diverse organizational settings, thriving in situations of uncertainty.

Familiarity with data networking architectures and physical network components.
Proven capability to lead and influence at multiple organizational levels, with experience in spearheading cross-functional process enhancements.

About the role: A problem is not genuinely resolved until it is addressed for all stakeholders. This is why our team develops products that create opportunities for everyone, whether locally or globally. As a Program Manager at Google, you will oversee intricate, multi-disciplinary projects from inception to completion — collaborating with stakeholders to define requirements, manage project timelines, identify risks, and maintain clear communication with cross-functional partners throughout the organization.

Your projects will frequently involve coordination across various offices, time zones, and regions. It will be your responsibility to synchronize the team members and keep them informed about progress and deadlines.

Our objective is to create a Google that reflects the diversity of the world around us — we strive for Googlers to feel valued and grow within our organization.

As part of our commitment to fostering a Google for everyone, we integrate diversity, equity, and inclusion into our operations and aim to cultivate a sense of belonging throughout the company.

The Global Network Infrastructure (GNI) team is responsible for planning, acquiring, building, and operating the network infrastructure that connects Google's Data Centers to Internet Service Providers worldwide.

The Networking Supply Chain and Commercial Operations (NOSCO) team is dedicated to executing the supply chain and commercial operations necessary to support our customers in a responsible and responsive manner.

This team is focused on delivering performance that enhances network reliability, ensures predictable capacity delivery, and achieves cost efficiencies.
Behind every online experience our users encounter is the architecture constructed by the Technical Infrastructure team to maintain its functionality.

From developing and managing our data centers to building the next generation of Google platforms, we enable Google's product portfolio to thrive.

We take pride in being the engineers for our engineers, enjoying the challenge of disassembling and reconstructing systems to enhance performance.

We ensure our networks remain operational, providing our users with the best and fastest experience possible.
Responsibilities: Lead the ideation, design, and execution of innovative solutions that tackle complex supply chain and logistics challenges.

Develop transformative strategies that enhance reverse supply chain operations, streamline processes, and improve the efficiency of spare parts management, warehousing, decommissioning, and reverse logistics.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to create and refine capability roadmaps that delineate the development and integration of new technologies, tools, and systems necessary for implementing proposed solutions.

Drive the creation of innovative solution designs that utilize industry best practices and emerging technologies to address reverse logistics challenges.

Provide leadership in design integrity throughout the program lifecycle, implement business and process changes, and offer strategic insights to identify and enhance Supply Chain capabilities.
