Job Title: Data Scientist

Rivanna Medical, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for analyzing large datasets generated from ultrasound imaging to identify trends, patterns, and insights to drive product development decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends and patterns.
  • Develop and implement machine learning models to improve ultrasound image quality and detect anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and provide actionable insights.
  • Implement data processing pipelines to handle real-time and batch ultrasound data.
  • Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings and support clinical decision-making.
Requirements:
  • PhD in Data Science, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience with machine learning, deep learning, and data analysis, preferably in the medical imaging or healthcare industry.
  • Strong statistical background.
  • Proficiency in Python or R, and experience with machine learning frameworks.
  • Strong understanding of image processing techniques and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms and big data technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Skills:
  • Experience with ultrasound imaging data and healthcare datasets.
  • Knowledge of medical device regulatory requirements and standards.
  • Background in signal processing or biomedical engineering is a plus.
