School Nurse Position

We are seeking a qualified School Nurse to join our team in the COFFEE COUNTY SCHOOL DISTRICT. As a School Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality healthcare services to students, teachers, and staff.
About the Role:This is a full-time position that requires a RN licensure in the State of Tennessee. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
Key Responsibilities:- Collect health and developmental information about students in a systematic manner
- Determine nursing diagnoses based on collected data
- Develop Nursing Care Plans and Individualized Health Plans (IHPs) tailored to student needs
- Implement nursing actions to promote, maintain, or restore health, prevent illness, and affect rehabilitation
- Current RN licensure in the State of Tennessee
- Graduate degree in nursing from an accredited program
- Three to five years of recent nursing experience, preferably in school nursing, public health nursing, or community health nursing
