Select Medical, a leading healthcare provider, is seeking a highly skilled Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) to join our team. With a focus on delivering exceptional patient care and promoting healing and recovery, we are committed to excellence in every aspect of our service.
Job Summary: As an SLP with Select Medical, you will play a vital role in providing comprehensive evaluation and treatment services to patients with communication and swallowing disorders. You will work collaboratively with our interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each patient.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments of patients' communication and swallowing skills
- Develop and implement effective treatment plans to improve communication and swallowing function
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless delivery of care
- Participate in peer review and quality improvement initiatives to enhance clinical practices
- Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment outcomes
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA)
- Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
- At least 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
- BLS certification
