Job Title: Director II, IT Data

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director II, IT Data to lead our Student Data Services team in ensuring data integrity, state reporting compliance, and management of policy and procedural expectations for student information system data compliance, registration/enrollment processes, and other student-level data management systems.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Lead the Student Data Services team in monitoring campus-level data accuracy, technical and procedural training, and support of campus-level users.
  • Collaborate with district divisions to support district and campus program initiatives impacting student data reflected in the district's student information system and other applications.
  • Coordinate and standardize campus-level data management and compliance with state and local policy and procedures.
  • Analyze and utilize database information to create concise, coherent standardized reports and forms.
  • Extrapolate data as needed to develop reports from internal sources and identify areas for improvement with data systems.
  • Provide technical assistance and support to campus leadership of operational and instructional systems and strategies that impact data.
  • Work with other district departments to integrate system-wide activities to meet targets.

**Requirements:**

  • Bachelor's Degree required; Master's Degree preferred.
  • Five years' directly related experience, and five years of supervisory or principal experience preferred.
  • Familiarity with student information systems and other data management applications.
  • Effective and efficient decision-making skills with ability to solve problems of a high degree of complexity under pressure.
  • Strong analytical and product management skills required to summarize and interpret data sets and provide recommendations based upon data.

**Preferred Qualifications:**

  • Demonstrated ability to handle difficult situations firmly, courteously, tactfully, and impartially.
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, analytical, organizational, oral and written communication skills.

**Working Conditions:**

This position is based in Dallas, Texas, and requires regular interaction with district staff and stakeholders.

**Salary and Benefits:**
