Senior Cultivation Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Cultivation Operations Manager to join our team at Cresco Labs. This is a critical role that requires a strong leader to oversee the day-to-day operations of our cultivation production areas, manage a team of 40-50 cultivation agents, and ensure that all cultivation processes, training requirements, schedules, policies, and procedures are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities- Manage cultivation staff, schedules, cultivation processes, inventory, and vendor relations.
- Serve as a role-model and resource for cultivation staff concerning products and services, policies and procedures, industry news, and changes in regulations.
- Address and resolve staff questions, concerns, and conflicts.
- Coordinate with the upper management team to ensure accurate information is communicated.
- Oversee all cultivation tasks and processes, ensure proper documentation of all applicable activities in accordance with the State and standards set by Cresco Labs.
- Oversee supply stock, orders, and deliveries to ensure efficient levels of all cultivation inputs and supplies.
- Ensure plant health by pruning, toping, trimming, analyzing plant health according to Cresco Labs policy, as well as any other tasks required.
- Direct environmental programs, crop steering, and integrated pest management.
- Maintain accurate records of all cultivation activities including employee records, inventory records, crop application records with the State and standards set by Cresco Labs.
- Bachelor's degree in plant biology, physiology, biological sciences, agricultural sciences, or equivalent experience.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred.
- 3-5 years of experience in a position with managerial responsibilities.
- Advanced knowledge of plant cultivation and cultivation facility operations and knowledge of medical cannabis policy and law.
- Proficiency in word processing, point-of-sale systems, and database management.
- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
- Effective time-management and ability to multi-task.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, changing, and challenging environment.
- Ability to stand, sit, kneel, and lift up to 50 lbs. for extended periods of time.
