Koble Inc is seeking a highly skilled C++ Software Development Professional to join our team in Lancaster PA or Moscow ID. This role will focus on improving the maintainability of a successful product with hundreds of active customer organizations through incremental refactoring, test harness development, and technology upgrades.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced software engineer who is passionate about building software that leads to customer success. As a member of our team, you will be working alongside experienced developers to learn an older codebase and modernize it using cutting-edge technologies.

Requirements:

  • Practical industry experience in C++.
  • A willingness to dive in and discover the details of an old codebase.
  • Desire to take ownership of work.
  • Future-oriented approach to the job at hand.
  • Ability to work with current teammates through change.
  • Experience developing test harnesses for GUI applications.

Preferred Experience:

  • Any of Win32 MFC, ATL, COM, ActiveX.
  • Incremental upgrading of an older codebase.
  • Team Foundation Server, Git, modern Windows APIs, Azure DevOps.
  • Accounting/Manufacturing/Distribution domain industry domain knowledge.
