Role Summary
The Commercial Lines Account Manager is essential in advancing our mission to provide outstanding client management and retention.
Key Responsibilities
- Efficiently overseeing a substantial portfolio of insurance accounts, ensuring all necessary tasks are executed accurately and punctually.
- Enhancing client loyalty by fostering positive relationships and delivering exceptional service, advocacy, and professional communication.
- Managing renewals, service inquiries, claims, billing, and new policy implementations.
- Maintaining a comprehensive understanding of market trends, underwriting guidelines, submission processes, and procedures.
- Reviewing all applications, policies, endorsements, and audits for precision.
- Collaborating with the department manager to coordinate renewal business information.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience is preferred.
- A minimum of three years of experience in Commercial Account Management is required.
- Property & Casualty License is mandatory.
- A valid driver's license and insurance are required.
- Strong administrative and computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Experience with Applied/Epic or similar agency management software is preferred.
- Able to work autonomously while enjoying significant interaction with team members.
- Self-motivated and results-driven.
- Exhibit a sense of urgency and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and problem-solving abilities with minimal assistance.
- Capability to multitask, prioritize, work independently, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor and a positive attitude.
