Solar Installation Manager Job Description

The Solar Installation Manager is a key role within Purelight Power, responsible for overseeing the installation of solar PV systems. This position requires a strong technical background, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage installation crews to ensure timely and efficient completion of projects
  • Collaborate with construction managers to review employee performance, compensation, and corrective action
  • Train new installers on installation practices, safety standards, and company procedures
  • Conduct quality control checks on installed systems to ensure compliance with company standards
  • Interact with clients to provide exceptional customer service and ensure satisfaction with installed systems
  • Accurately document and upload project information to the company's CRM system
Requirements:
  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a solar installer or in the solar industry
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as a lead installer or in a supervisory role
  • Proficient in all aspects of solar PV system installation, including OSHA and safety practices
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical documentation
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams

Purelight Power offers a competitive salary range of $36-$43 per hour, depending on experience. This is a full-time position based in Medford, OR, with relocation assistance available for the right candidate.
